Drais/Download/Tester Guide

Welcome, tester.
This is your guide.

Thank you for helping us test! Drais is a personal bike management app: your garage, parts and maintenance in one place, plus ride tracking, gear, workshop reference material, and a cycling community. The app is in its beta phase — most of it works well, some parts are still rough, and your feedback directly shapes what we fix first.

Sending feedback? Everything goes through the app: Profile → Support. If the app itself won't cooperate, email beta@drais.app.

What you can explore.

On first launch you'll go through a short 5-step setup — you can skip steps and come back later, your progress is saved. After that, all of this is ready for you.

01

Garage.

The heart of the app: your bikes and everything on them.

  • Multiple bikes: add, edit, duplicate, theft reporting, and PDF export
  • Parts with wear % and service intervals (distance, time, or riding hours)
  • Swap wheelsets between bikes and manage chains as rotation sets
  • Log maintenance with costs, photos, and stock deduction on confirmation
  • Service dashboard, storage/inventory, and checklist templates
02

Gear.

Your apparel and accessories, neatly tracked.

  • Categories, condition, warranty, weight, purchase price, and receipt photos
  • Build kits with per-item notes and a cover photo
  • Warranty-expiry alerts
  • Sell directly via the marketplace — pre-filled
03

Rides & Insights.

Record, import, and analyze.

  • GPS recording with pause/resume and crash recovery
  • Import via Strava or Wahoo — duplicates never double-count
  • Weekly summaries, records, training load, heatmap, and CO2
  • Year-in-Sport: a shareable recap of your season
  • Route library with ratings and GPX upload
  • Comments with @mentions and privacy zones; kudos works most reliably on group rides
04

Workshop.

Reference material and tools at hand.

  • Repair guides and torque specs with a "My Bikes" filter
  • Chain rotation tracking, tool inventory, and consumables
05

Community.

Riders, clubs, and the marketplace.

  • Chat: 1:1 and groups with media, voice notes, and reactions
  • Forum with categories, trending posts, and offline drafts
  • Clubs, marketplace with offers, and group rides with RSVP
  • Achievements and following/discovering other riders
06

Profile & Settings.

Your account, your rules.

  • Public rider profile with share link and share card
  • Two-factor authentication and PIN/biometric app lock
  • Theme, units, and 8 languages with live switching
  • Data export, selective deletion, and full account deletion
  • Sign in with Google or Apple
  • Connect Strava and Wahoo devices
02 Heads-up

Known issues. No need to report.

We're aware of the items below — you don't need to report these. Workarounds included where available.

01
The Virtual Ride Lobby is not reachable yet. It's coming in a later release.
02
Ghost-ride split comparisons are approximate. Based on average speed, not true per-kilometre timing.
03
Cadence is a summary number only. Heart rate and power now have zone and curve charts; a cadence chart is still coming.
04
Apple sign-in can occasionally fail on the first try. Retrying works.
05
Legal documents are machine-translated drafts. They're still pending professional legal review.
06
Conflict warnings currently cover bikes, parts, gear, maintenance, and ride-to-bike reassignment. Edit the same item outside those categories on two devices, and the most recent save still wins silently.
03 Your input

What feedback we're looking for.

Everything is welcome, but these help us the most. A screenshot plus the steps to reproduce make a report ten times more useful.

01
Crashes and freezes. What were you doing right before it happened?
02
Data that looks wrong. Distances, wear percentages, costs, or stats that don't match reality.
03
Confusing flows. Anywhere you got stuck, had to search, or expected something else to happen.
04
Blockers. Anything that stops you from completing a task at all.
05
Missing must-haves. Features you rely on in the apps you use today that you'd need before switching.

Use the in-app feedback flow — it's the fastest way to reach us: Profile → Support → Report a bug / Suggest a feature. You can attach screenshots, set a severity, and we'll reply directly in the ticket thread. If the app itself won't cooperate, email beta@drais.app.

Thanks for riding along in the beta — every report makes Drais better. 🚴
