What is the problem?

Affected cranksets may exhibit bonding failure between the two halves of the crank arm, causing the arm to separate during use. This can lead to crashes and serious injury.

What should you do?

Stop using the bike immediately if your crankset matches the affected models and date codes. Contact your nearest Shimano dealer for a free inspection. Affected cranksets will be replaced under warranty.
