Sealant dries up over 2–6 months depending on climate. Wet climates last longer; dry/hot ones evaporate fast.

Procedure

  1. Position the wheel

    with the valve at the 6 o'clock position.

  2. Deflate the tire fully

  3. Unscrew the valve core

    with a valve core remover.

  4. Inject 30–60 ml fresh sealant

    through the valve using a sealant injector.

  5. Reinstall the valve core

  6. Inflate

    and rotate the wheel to distribute sealant.

Some riders prefer to peel the bead at one point and pour sealant into the tire directly — gives more accurate dosing but requires re-seating. The valve method is faster.
