Honest about the boundaries.
What happens when the beta ends?
We'll announce it well in advance. Your records stay free with no limits — the core garage staying free is a promise, not a beta perk. Premium features then need a subscription, or the 14-day trial if you haven't used it yet. Early access testers keep Premium for life.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Nothing disappears and nothing gets locked. All your bikes, parts, photos and history stay exactly as they are. If your photos take up more than Free's 500 MB, they all stay — you just can't upload new ones until you're back under it. You stop seeing forecasts and Insights, and if you resubscribe they pick up right where they left off.
Does Premium work on all my devices?
Yes. Premium is tied to your Drais account, not to one device. Buy it through the App Store or Google Play and it also works on your other phone and on the web.
What if I'm offline for a while?
Drais is offline-first, and so is Premium. Your subscription keeps working without reception, and if we temporarily can't verify a renewal you get a 72-hour grace period. Your data is never hidden because verification is briefly unavailable.
Is the Strava connection really free?
Yes. Connections with Strava and Wahoo are part of the free version and will stay that way.
Do Insights work with Strava?
Not for Insights. Rides you record in Drais or import through Garmin, Wahoo or a FIT file feed every predictive and analytics feature: forecasts from your riding rhythm, cost forecasts, best efforts, goal pace, ghost comparisons, AI summaries and year in review.
Rides synced from Strava still show in your ride history and mileage — the Strava connection stays free — but Strava's terms don't let us use that data for forecasts, AI or exports, so those rides are left out of every Insights calculation. If most of your rides come from Strava, connect Garmin or Wahoo, or record rides directly in Drais, to see the full picture.
How does the free trial work?
During the open beta you don't need one: Premium is already unlocked. After the beta, every account is entitled to 14 days of full Premium, and you decide when they begin: you start them yourself with one tap in your profile. The offer never expires — start right away, or wait until your whole garage is in Drais and predictive maintenance actually has something to predict. No credit card is asked for and no subscription is created; after 14 days you simply continue on the free version and lose nothing.
Your records are never held hostage
Logging, history and export are free — today and in ten years. Premium predicts; it never takes anything away.

Recalls, safety checks and essential reminders stay available to everyone, always.
